August 2016: vakantie in UK & France

we loved to spent a short holiday in the UK, and meet our "Gran-Jan" in combination with a lovely show in Swindon. 

Jan Betts is Dwayne's "Gran-Jan"  ... Dwayne loves her, and she loves Dwayne. 

Allewe met in the gardens of Baroona, where she was dog sitting.The dogs loved it and enjoyed the shade.

 

after the weekend we visited the beach in Littlehampton. 

 

We had a siesta in Arundel, near the caste. It was sunny and we relaxed... time to read a book!

 

walking the dogs... Yes, I count my blessings, and walking with these 6, is one of those moments!

we drove down the South Down Path.. visited Brexhill On Sea. 

 

and after another sunny day in UK, we drove back to Folkestone and back to Calais by tunnel

even Babs wanted to join this walk at the beach in Calais!

Our last stop in Arques, at "trois Etanges' lovely evening walk before we drove home.
